JAMESTOWN – A Pennsylvania man was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs after allegedly driving on the wrong side of the road Tuesday evening.

Jamestown Police said Eli B. Malinowski, 34, was spotted by officers driving on the wrong side of the street on Baker Street before making a wide right turn on to Hallock Street just after 7:30 p.m.

Police said they were able to stop Malinowski’s vehicle and interview him.

Officers said Malinowski told them he left his house in Waterford, Pennsylvania at 3 p.m. and was going to the Walmart store in Lakewood.

While speaking with the man, officers determined he was driving while ability impaired.

Police said Malinowski failed field sobriety tests and was arrested for driving while ability impaired by drugs and several traffic violations.
