JAMESTOWN – Crews from R Patti Concrete & Excavating, L.L.C. will start work Wednesday to improve East Third Street from Main Street to Pine Street.

Officials from R Patti said Potters Alley and Black Bear Alley will also seek work. The work will reportedly consist of modifying and restructuring the downtown streetscape with pavement resurfacing, granite curbing, concrete structures, etc.

Road closures are reportedly expected at certain times of the project, which is expected to take around three weeks. Crews are expected to work Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Those who park adjacent to the work areas are asked to have their vehicles moved to another location prior to 7 a.m. each day.

R Patti was reportedly contracted by the City of Jamestown Department of Public Works to complete the project.
