Jamestown Man Arrested For Driving On Sidewalk, Allegedly Drunk

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested after Jamestown Police said they observed his vehicle drive on and off the sidewalk in the area of Foote Avenue and Harrison Street Monday evening.

Police said Paul R. Peru, 40, was allegedly consuming alcohol while in his vehicle.

Peru was taken to Jamestown City Jail where police said refused to take a breath test to determine his blood alcohol content.











The man is charged with failed to use designated lane, driving on sidewalk, consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle, driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test.
