JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested after allegedly fleeing police following a warrant check this week in the area of 215 S. Main St.

Jamestown Police say while attempting to arrest Ricky Myers, 20, on Monday afternoon for outstanding felony warrants from Jamestown City Court, Myers ran from officers.

Following a short foot pursuit, police said Myers was taken into custody.

Myers is charged on the warrants: felony first-degree robbery, second-degree assault and second-degree menacing.

He was additionally charged with second-degree obstructing governmental administration.
