School Bus Driver Dies Following Cattaraugus County Crash

ISCHUA – A school bus driver died Tuesday morning following a crash in Cattaraugus County.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says the 57-year-old, who was not identified, was pronounced dead at Olean General Hospital.

Deputies say the bus crashed into a ditch on County Route 16 just after 9 a.m.











Additionally, a female bus monitor was taken to Olean General Hospital with minor injuries.

No students were on the bus at the time of the crash.

The bus was part of First Student’s fleet.
