Man Arrested For Allegedly Threatening Woman With Pipe

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested over the weekend for allegedly threatening a woman with a metal pipe.

Jamestown Police say they responded to a report of a suspicious person at a Lakeview Avenue address Saturday night.

Through investigation, officers allege that John Matteson Jr., 34, threatened a female victim in her vehicle with a metal pipe.











Matteson Jr. is charged with second-degree menacing in the case.

Officers say he was arrested and taken to Jamestown City Jail pending arraignment.
