JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested New Year’s Day after he allegedly hit a woman with a television during a dispute.

Jamestown Police say they responded to a domestic dispute on Fairmount Avenue Wednesday morning.

A female victim alleges that Christopher Toole, 43, broke a television when he hit her with it during an altercation.

Officers say Toole was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail.

He is charged with felony aggravated family offense, fourth-degree criminal mischief and second-degree harassment.
