JAMESTOWN – An annual event that aims to bring the community and area attractions together will take place this weekend.
‘Doors Open Jamestown’, hosted by the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation, will take place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Zach Agett, the Marketing and Events Manager for the Jamestown Renaissance Corporation, says the event features free admission to a number of area attractions.
“If you are not sure about something, it is your chance to see if for free,” said Agett.
This year ‘doors open’ also features a number of raffles at each attraction.
With three prize packages, entry to the raffles can be earned by either completing five scavenger hunt questions that will be posted online or making a $10 purchase at any attraction or downtown business.
The attractions include: Audubon Community Nature Center, Busti Grist Mill, Chautauqua County Chamber of Commerce, Chautauqua Harbor Hotel, Chautauqua Sports Hall of Fame, Children’s Activity Corner, Daughters of the American Revolution, DoubleTree by Hilton Jamestown, Fenton History Center, James Prendergast Public Library, Lucille Ball Desi Arnaz Museum, Martz-Kohl Observatory, Marvin Community House, National Comedy Center (preregistration required – SOLD OUT), Reg Lenna Center for the Arts, Robert H.
