Jamestown Man Arrested After Allegedly Punching Woman In Face, Taking Car

JAMESTOWN – A City of Jamestown man was arrested after allegedly punching a woman in the face and taking her vehicle without permission Sunday morning.

Jamestown Police say that Robert Ridgeway Jr., 38, was arrested after returning to the Forest Avenue address while police were investigating the incident.

Ridgeway is charged with third-degree unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and second-degree harassment.











Officers say the victim’s vehicle was located parked a block away and recovered by the owner.
