JAMESTOWN – One new case of COVID-19 was reported on Tuesday in Chautauqua County.

Officials during their 4 p.m. daily update reported the case involves a young adult male.

There is now a total of 54 confirmed cases, with 13 active.

As of yesterday, two people recovered from COVID-19, bringing the recovery total to 37.

A total of 225 people are under quarantine and/or isolation orders by the Public Health Director and being monitored. Not all of those being monitored are confirmed to have COVID-19, but officials say, have either shown symptoms, are awaiting results, or have risk factors.
