JAMESTOWN – Officials with the Jamestown Board of Public Utilities say a fallen tree limb caused a power outage in parts of Jamestown Sunday morning.

BPU linemen are working to repair an electric outage that has cut power to most of Lakeview Avenue and Liberty Streets.

As of 9 a.m. is no estimated repair time, but workers have been on the job since before 6 a.m.

Crews say the tree limb damaged a transformer which caused the outage.
