Flash Flood Warning Issued For Parts Of Chautauqua County

SHERMAN – A Flash Flood Warning was issued for portions of western Chautauqua County Friday night.

The storm is over parts of Sherman and has been producing torrential rainfall.

Radar elements are suggesting up to 2″ has fallen with an additional 1-2″ possible.











Some locations that could experience flooding include, Westfield, Clymer, Ripley, Mina, Sherman, Ripley Beach and Barcelona.

Flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other drainage and low lying areas.

The warning is set to expire at 12:15 a.m. Saturday.
