Lakewood-Busti Police Seize Two Pounds Of Pot In Traffic Stop

BUSTI – A Jamestown man was charged with a felony after Lakewood-Busti Police confiscated more than two pounds of marijuana during a traffic stop Thursday night.

Justin Peck, 27, was charged with second-degree criminal possession of marijuana.

Police said they made a traffic stop at 11:04 p.m. for an alleged speeding incident where peck was a passenger in the vehicle.











During a search of the car, officers allegedly found 2.3 pounds of marijuana. The amount of the suspected marijuana makes the charge a felony.

Peck was processed and released and is to be in Town of Busti Court at a later date.
