Man Arrested After Allegedly Threatening Juveniles With A Firearm In Sherman

SHERMAN – A 20-year-old man was arrested Tuesday following an alleged burglary of a Sherman residence where Sheriff Deputies say he threatened two juveniles with a firearm.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says Taylor Tripp was arrested on a warrant stemming from the alleged Monday evening burglary of a West Main Street home.

Investigators accuse Tripp of forcibly entering the residence, and while inside, threating the two juvenile males.

He is charged with second-degree burglary, second-degree menacing and endangering the welfare of a child.

Tripp was transported to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.
