40-Year-Old Man Accused In Cattaraugus County Firearm Theft

OTTO – A 40-year-old man is accused of stealing firearms from a home in Cattaraugus County.

The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office says Cheektowaga resident John Freiberg allegedly broke into a home on Ball Road in the Town of Otto last month, stealing an undisclosed number of firearms.

Freiberg, deputies say, was taken into custody on an arrest warrant for second- and fourth-degree grand larceny this week.











They say the man was processed, arraigned and released.

He is schedule to return to Otto Town Court for further proceedings.
