JAMESTOWN – If you’re interested in spending some time outdoors and learning more about the environment around you, the Audubon Community Nature Center has a program that is perfect for you.
On Saturday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. and Saturday, July 3 from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., the group will be holding guided nature walks. There will also be walks in August and September, but dates for those have not yet been released.
During the walks, an educator will help to provide information about foliage, wildlife, and seasonal changes in Western New York.
No more than 15 people can attend per session. Registration should be completed by the Thursday before the walk and can be done online at auduboncnc.org or by calling (716) 569-2345, although walk-ins will be accepted if there are extra spaces available.
The nature walks are free, although donations are appreciated.
Face masks are required both indoors and outdoors on the nature walks, regardless of your vaccination status.
