West Third Street Closed After Bricks Fall From Historic Jamestown Building

JAMESTOWN – A portion of West Third Street in Jamestown is closed after parts of a historic downtown building crumbled on Monday afternoon.

The roadway is closed from Washington to Cherry Streets.


Part of Hotel Jamestown’s façade broke apart, causing bricks to fall to the sidewalk and roadway below.

The Jamestown Department of Development is now working to determine the next steps for the scene.

Until the structure’s exterior is secured however, the roadway will likely remain closed.
