JAMESTOWN – A 34-year-old Jamestown man is accused of damaging a Chautauqua County Sheriff’s cruiser.

The Sheriff’s Office says Daniel Douglas was walking along East Second Street last Friday, when he allegedly intentionally damaged a sheriff’s office cruiser on patrol.

On Thursday, deputies located Douglas and served him with an appearance ticket for third-degree criminal mischief.

Douglas is scheduled to appear in the City of Jamestown Court at a later date to answer to the charge.
