Two Injured Following Overnight Shooting In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – Two people were injured following an overnight shooting in Jamestown Friday.

Jamestown Police say officers responded to the area of Peach and Winsor Street at around 2:30 a.m.











Officers report that an altercation between several individuals attending a gathering nearby resulted in the shooting incident.

Specifically, police say several shots were fired by multiple suspects, resulting in two people being shot.

Both shooting victims were treated and released from UPMC Jamestown for non-life threatening injuries, police said.









The investigation is continuing, and anyone who may have information on this shooting is asked to contact the Jamestown Police Department at 716-483-7537, or an anonymous tip can be left at  716-483-Tips (8477).
