New York State’s Unemployment Rate Continues Decline

ALBANY – New York State’s unemployment rate continues to decline.

According to new figures out Thursday by the State Labor Department, the rate slightly in July.

The number of private sector jobs increased by 43,800 during that time, marking the state’s largest gain in private sector jobs since March.











The state’s private sector job count is seven percent higher compared to July of last year.
