USPS Releases This Year’s Holiday Shipping Deadlines

JAMESTOWN – Christmas is just a couple months away, and the United States Postal Service (USPS) is urging you do you shopping early this year to avoid massive shipping delays.

It rolled out its holiday shipping deadlines Tuesday morning, predicting the last day to send mail to be sure it arrives before the holiday.

You will need to send First-Class mail by Dec. 17, Priority mail by Dec. 18 and Priority Express by Dec. 23.











The Postal Service also said its busiest time begins two weeks before Christmas.

The holiday shipping season comes amid new changes at the Postal Service and global supply chain issues.

Experts said it will be more important than ever to send gifts early this year.
