Falconer Man Jailed For Allegedly Hitting Person With Baseball Bat

KENNEDY – A Village of Falconer man is behind bars after allegedly hitting a person with a baseball bat.

The Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office says 23-year-old Jayson Sanchez was arrested following a fight at a residence on Route 394 in Kennedy around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday.

Following an investigation, it is alleged Sanchez struck another person in the head with the bat.


The victim, deputies say, was taken to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital for treatment of their injuries.

Sanchez was arrested and charged with second-degree assault.
