JAMESTOWN – Two Jamestown residents are facing child endangerment charges after police and child protective services allegedly found their northside home in “deplorable” living conditions.

Officers with the Jamestown Police Department say the discovery was made during a home visit with CPS on Friday afternoon.

22-year-old Karissa Seekings and 27-year-old Javier Garcia were both located inside the residence along with two young children ages three and six.

The two were taken into custody and taken to Jamestown City Jail. They have since been charged with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child.

The children, police say, were turned over to a relative for the time being.
