Man Hospitalized Following Early Morning Stabbing In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN – A man is in stable condition following an early morning stabbing on Jamestown’s northside.

Jamestown Police were called to a residence in the 600 block of Prendergast Avenue around 5 a.m.











Captain Robert Samuelson reports a 40-year-old man was stabbed in the chest.

Samuelson says he was taken from the scene to UPMC Chautauqua Hospital before he was transferred to UPMC Hamot in Erie.

Police are still searching for a suspect currently. Anyone with information is asked to contact the department at (716) 483-8477.
