JAMESTOWN – The man accused in the hit and run death of a Jamestown teen on New Years Eve is now facing additional charges for unregistered handguns.

Jamestown Police announced on Tuesday morning that a Chautauqua County Grand Jury indicted Randal Rolison with three counts of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.

The additional charges, police say, come after investigators allegedly found three unregistered handguns inside of Rolison’s Town of Busti storage unit.

City of Jamestown Police say 15-year-old Alexis Hughan was crossing West 6th Street near Washington Street around 12:30 p.m. New Year’s Eve when she was allegedly hit by Rolison’s 18-wheel car carrier.

As for charges related to the crash, he was previously charged with felony leaving the scene of a motor vehicle accident and driving while ability impaired by drugs.

The department says additional charges remain pending following results of blood toxicology from the NYSP Crime Lab in Albany.
