ERIE, Pa. (Erie News Now) – Presque Isle State Park is hosting an opportunity to introduce families to ice fishing Feb. 5.

The session, which will be held by educators and members of the SONS of Lake Erie, will run from 9 to 11 a.m.

Attendees will learn about the equipment needed to safely fish on the ice and hopefully hook a fish.


All equipment and bait are provided, but participants are asked to dress for the weather and wear insulated boots.

Anyone interested must register by Feb. 3 online here. Registration is limited to 20 participants.
