ELLERY – A local business in Ellery was destroyed by fire overnight.

Around 2:12 a.m. Sunday the Fluvanna Fire Department, along with several other local agencies, responded to a structure fire at the Homestead Café Restaurant, 3062 Rt. 430, in the Town of Ellery.

In a post on the business’s Facebook page, management wrote: “Thank you to all the first responders and volunteers on scene.
