Public Forum To Discuss Jamestown’s Crime Increase Is Happening This Week

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A public forum to discuss the crime increase in Jamestown is happening this week. 

The meeting will take place on Wednesday, September 14 at Christ First United Methodist Church, 663 Lakeview Ave. in Jamestown at 6:30 p.m.











The Jamestown Police Department and Department of Development will have presentations on neighborhood and housing concerns, as well as the increase in gun violence and drug activity.

Council President Tony Dolce announced the meeting during a press conference following a deadly shooting in mid-August. The forum is open to all in the community that wishes to attend.
