JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – Kwik Fill locations across the region, and in Jamestown, celebrated truck drivers as part of a week-long event where drivers can stop in, fill up their tanks, get a snack, and even win some prizes.
Several locations, including the Route 60 gas station in Jamestown, offered coupons for up to ten dollars to commercial drivers, a chance to spin a prize wheel, and free coffee coupons.
Staff at Kwik Fill recognize the hard work and dedication of the truck drivers that stop by, so they’d like to give back.
There is also a giveaway that will be drawn at the end of the month for a total prize package worth up to $1,000.
“I think it’s fabulous because everyone wants to feel appreciated, don’t you? You like to feel appreciated, it makes you smile. I love it, you get more out of people when they feel appreciated,” said truck driver Dan Anders.
Organizers of this event say it will likely return next year, as well.
