JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – The FBI, alongside Jamestown Police, sized drugs and several weapons following a raid on the city’s southside.

Just after 11 a.m. on Thursday the Jamestown Metro Drug Task Force, and partners, raided 250 Schuyler Street apartment number 10.

36-year-old Vaughn Grant, police said, was arrested following a traffic stop nearby his apartment. He was spotted leaving the area just prior to the raid.

Inside his apartment, police allegedly recovered over 600 grams of meth, nearly 200 grams of crack cocaine, three grams of MDMA, known as molly or ecstasy, three loaded pistols, one which was reported stolen, a loaded AR-15 rifle, ammunition, scales, drug packaging materials and over $14,700 dollars in cash.

As a convicted felon, police said Grant is not legally allowed to possess a firearm.

Following the raid, he was held in federal custody on several charges connected to alleged drug trafficking. He will later be arraigned by a federal court judge.
