Man Allegedly Busted With A Loaded Pistol In Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – A 23-year-old man was allegedly busted with a loaded pistol following an investigation on Jamestown’s eastside.

On Monday, officers with the Jamestown Police Department responded to the Eagle Street area for a reported person with a weapon around 5:30 a.m.











Christian Jewell was arrested at the intersection of Eagle and Scioto Streets after allegedly failing to comply with officers’ orders.

Following a search of his person, patrol personnel said they recovered a loaded .38 caliber which Jewell did not possess a New York State Pistol Permit for.

Jewell was transported to the Jamestown City Jail and held pending his arraignment.









He is charged with criminal possession of a weapon and obstructing governmental administration.
