JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) — A wanted Jamestown man is behind bars after he was arrested by police over the weekend.

Officers with Jamestown Police say Curtis Snyder provided them with a false name and date of birth to avoid arrest during a warrant check at an eastside address on Saturday.

The 50-year-old was wanted by parole personnel in Pennsylvania.

Snyder was charged with criminal impersonation and as a fugitive from justice.

He is currently being held in Chautauqua County’s Jail.
