One Stabbed At Jamestown Park

JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – One person was stabbed at a northside park in Jamestown on Friday.

Preliminary reports indicate the victim suffered minor injuries as a result of the attack at Jackson-Taylor Park, formerly known as Chadakoin Park.

Around 12:30 p.m. Jamestown Police, Fire and Alstar EMS were called to the scene.


The victim was later intercepted by first responders at the corner of Lafayette and 8th Streets.

The suspect, dispatch said at the time, was reported to have a gun.

This is the third reported stabbing in less than three days in Jamestown. It’s unclear if these crimes are related.
