JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – The final episode of a locally produced cooking show airs this weekend.

A collaboration between the St. Susan Center in Jamestown and the locally owned and operated streaming service Channel 716, ‘So, You Think You Can Cook?’ brings together three area chefs who compete as part of the charity fundraiser.

Filmed back on March 11, home chefs Marc Graves and Justin Olmstead faced off against Southern Tier Brewing Company chef Chad Hallberg.

Using whatever is available in the soup kitchen’s pantry, and at times an unusual pairing of donated ingredients, the three were judged in two rounds: an appetizer and entrée. After considering flavors of a premade soup, a winner is crowned.

For contestant Marc Graves, his love of cooking developed in the kitchen alongside his mother.

“One of the best sounds, is silence, when everyone is eating,” explained Graves. “You can throw ramen noodles in a pot, but sometimes that really bad day, and that boiling pot of water, and that 50 cent pack of ramen noodles, it brings love. It’s just simple.”

Episode three premieres on Saturday, at 7 p.m. on Channel 716 on Roku and Channel716.com.
