JAMESTOWN, NY (WNY News Now) – One man is behind bars for a Jamestown Dollar General Burglary.

33-year-old Wayne A. Snyder Jr. was apprehended by Jamestown City officers for burglary and petit larceny at Dollar General on Winsor St.

Saturday evening Wayne A. Snyder Jr. was arrested by officers of the Jamestown Police Department on charges of Burglary 3rd and Petit Larceny at the Dollar General store on Winsor St in Jamestown.

The arrest came after store employees reported a shoplifting incident involving Snyder, whom they recognized despite his prior ban from the store. According to the employees Snyder had stolen items belonging to Dollar General during his unauthorized visit.

He was taken into custody and transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he is currently being held pending arraignment.
