Jamestown Man Arrested on Multiple Child Sexual Assault Charges

Jamestown, NY (WNY News Now) – A Jamestown man was arraigned on a twelve-count indictment, including charges of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child and Rape in the First Degree.

On July 17, 2023 Michael Lamb (37) of Jamestown faced an arraignment on a comprehensive twelve-count indictment, which alleges his involvement in a series of serious offenses against minors.

The charges brought against him encompass 4 counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, each classified as a class A-II violent felony; 5 counts of Rape in the First Degree, each categorized as a class B violent felony; 1 count of Course of Sexual Conduct Against a Child in the First Degree, classified as a class B felony; and 2 counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child, each designated as a class A misdemeanor. The period during which these crimes are said to have occurred spans from February 2021 to January 2023 within the City of Jamestown, involving two children under seventeen years of age.


Arraigned by Judge David Foley in Chautauqua County Court, Michael Lamb entered a plea of not guilty. Judge Foley established bail conditions at $50,000 in cash or a $100,000 bond.

Presently, Lamb is confined within the Chautauqua County Jail.
