(WNY News Now) – After careful consideration following community feedback, WNY News Now will resume it’s daily broadcast.
Hello everyone. About two weeks ago, we made the announcement that WNY News Now would be discontinuing its daily broadcast in order to increase our overall production capabilities. Since then, we have received a lot of community feedback expressing disappointment with that decision. We have heard your feedback, and, after careful consideration, have decided to resume production of a daily broadcast. The broadcast will take place at 5 p.m. every weekday in order to allow greater viewership.
However, like I had said previously, we possess a finite amount of time, energy, and resources, and the production of the show takes up the lion’s share. As such, this move comes at the cost of decreasing the number of video reports available for our stories. If a user selects an article that does not possess a video report, they will be required to read it themselves if they wish to know the contents of the story. This may come as a disappointment to some, but the feedback we have received made their preference between the two quite clear.
In conclusion, we hope that this change will alleviate some of the discontent within the community. As previously mentioned, we will begin broadcasting the show on Monday, and it will air at 5 p.m. The reduction in video reports will begin with the publication of this article. That’s the news.
