(WNY News Now) – A 40-year-old man residing in Jamestown, was arrested on October 20, 2023, after officers responded to a reported domestic dispute on W Main St in Falconer. Mount allegedly placed his hands around a female victim’s neck and made threats to ignite the house by placing a bottle of butane in the oven, in violation of a court order of protection.

Falconer – In a distressing incident on October 20, 2023, at 11:22 PM, law enforcement officers were summoned to an address on W Main St in Falconer, responding to a call about a physical domestic dispute. The ensuing investigation alleged that Bobby R Mount, a 40-year-old resident of Jamestown, had placed his hands around the neck of a female victim during the altercation.

In a further concerning development, Mount allegedly placed a bottle of butane in the home’s oven, accompanied by a threat to “blow the house up.” This menacing act raised serious concerns for the safety of those present.

Additionally, it was determined that Mount’s actions were in clear violation of a court order of protection. Consequently, law enforcement placed him under arrest and subsequently transported him to the Chautauqua County Jail for centralized arraignment.

Bobby R Mount now faces charges that include Criminal Contempt 1st, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing or Blood Circulation, and Reckless Endangerment 2nd in connection with the incident.
