
(WNY News Now) -A resident of Springville, New York man has entered a plea of not guilty to a series of charges, including assault, forcible touching, unlawful imprisonment, and endangering the welfare of a child. The alleged incident took place in the Town of Franklinville, New York, between July 1, 2023, and July 11, 2023.
Franklinville – Timothy Prouty, a Springville resident pleaded not guilty to a total of nine charges, including three counts of Assault in the Second Degree, one count of Forcible Touching, two counts of Unlawful Imprisonment, and four counts of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.
The alleged incident occurred in the Town of Franklinville, New York, between July 1, 2023, and July 11, 2023. Prouty is accused of acting jointly and in concert with others, each aiding and abetting the other, with the intent to cause physical injury to a person less than seven years old and forcibly touching the sexual or intimate parts of another person for the purpose of degrading or abusing them.
The case has been adjourned for motions.
