Justina Wolanin, 28, of Farmersville, NY, was arrested on charges of Burglary in the second degree and Petit Larceny following a suspicious person report in Machias, NY.
On March 31, 2024, at approximately 6:15 PM, Justina Wolanin was apprehended by authorities after an investigation into a suspicious person at 10186 Route 16, Machias, NY, 14101. The incident involved Wolanin unlawfully entering a residence, prompting the homeowner to notify the police. After a brief interaction inside the house, Wolanin departed but was later found and arrested along Route 16.
Wolanin, now facing charges of PL 140.25 (2) and PL 155.25, was processed and arraigned at Machias Town Court. She is currently held at Cattaraugus County Jail on bail amounts of $5000 cash, $10,000 bond, and $20,000 unsecured bond.
