(WNY News Now) – Chautauqua, NY – A 24-year-old homeless woman, was arrested twice in separate vehicle pursuits by the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, facing a slew of charges including reckless driving and burglary.

Savannah T. Dorsey-Carter, a 24-year-old homeless woman, found herself in police custody twice within a month, following separate vehicle pursuits in Chautauqua County. On March 18th, deputies attempted to stop her for speeding on Rt 380 in the Town of Gerry, leading to a pursuit spanning Towns of Ellery and Stockton. Despite inclement weather, the chase ended with Dorsey-Carter rolling her vehicle into a ditch and fleeing. She was later tracked by K-9 unit and found in a cabin. However, on April 9th, she was allegedly involved in another pursuit with Pennsylvania authorities, ending in the Town of Mina. Dorsey-Carter faces a litany of charges, including reckless driving, burglary, and drug possession. She was apprehended with the assistance of neighbors and now awaits trial after hospital treatment.

    It’s only going to get worse with the homeless! I tried to help a couple, who were homeless, and they robbed me blind! It’s pretty sad when you can’t even help the homeless!
