(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – Jamestown police apprehended a 34-year-old woman for criminal trespass and impersonation after discovering her on the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad property near Institute St. on April 21, 2024.
On the evening of April 21, 2024, Jamestown Police Department officers, while conducting routine patrol near Institute St. along the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad tracks, encountered and detained a female trespasser. Identified as Robin L. Miller, a 34-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, she was allegedly found on the railroad premises, prompting officers to take her into custody for criminal trespass.
Upon further investigation, it was revealed that Miller had initially provided false information to the officers in an attempt to evade arrest. Subsequent verification uncovered active warrants against her from multiple jurisdictions, including the Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office, Lakewood Busti Police Department, and Morris County, New Jersey.
As a result, Miller faces charges of criminal trespass in the 3rd degree, criminal impersonation in the 2nd degree, and being a fugitive from justice. She is currently held in the Jamestown city jail awaiting arraignment in Jamestown City Court.
