(WNY News Now) – Jamestown, NY – Two residents of Jamestown, were apprehended by Jamestown Police on charges of criminal trespass and possession of a controlled substance on April 24, 2024, at approximately 6:18 pm.

Jamestown Police officers conducting routine patrols near Institute St. and E. 1st St. on the evening of April 24, 2024, encountered Megan M. Truver and Thomas J. Mann trespassing on property owned by the Western New York and Pennsylvania Railroad LLC. The officers promptly took both individuals into custody.

Upon inventorying Truver and Mann’s belongings, law enforcement officials discovered a quantity of methamphetamine in their possession. Consequently, both individuals were charged with two counts of criminal trespass in the 3rd degree and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree.

The case has been referred to the Jamestown City Court, where Truver and Mann are being held pending arraignment. They were released with appearance tickets to attend court proceedings.
