Tragic shooting on Steuben Street leaves one dead, police launch intense investigation.
On Wednesday, June 5th, at approximately 1:43 p.m., the Syracuse Police Department responded to a distress call on the 100 block of Steuben Street, reporting a shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, officers discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Despite immediate medical intervention, the victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital, where he tragically succumbed to his injuries. This incident has sparked an active and ongoing homicide investigation by the Syracuse Police Department.
