(WNY News Now) – Syracuse – On Monday, July 22nd, 2024, at approximately 9:42 P.M., Syracuse Police Officers were dispatched to Upstate Hospital following a report of a shooting with injuries. Upon arrival, officers found a 24-year-old male victim who had been shot in the leg. The victim is currently in stable condition and is expected to survive.

The exact location of the shooting is still under investigation as detectives work to gather more details. The Syracuse Police Department is urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward.
