(WNY News Now) – BUFFALO, N.Y. – Ronald Rowles, 37, of Niagara Falls, was sentenced to 33 months in prison after being convicted of cocaine distribution, according to U.S. Attorney Trini E. Ross. U.S. District Judge Lawrence J. Vilardo handed down the sentence.

Between December 2016 and June 2019, Rowles sold cocaine in the Lewiston, NY area. A search warrant executed in January 2019 at his residence led to the discovery of 59 grams of cocaine and drug-related materials. Rowles continued his illegal activities while on pre-trial release, selling an ounce of cocaine in June 2019 to a cooperating individual.

The case was investigated by Homeland Security Investigations, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Niagara County Drug Task Force, and the Town of Tonawanda Police Department.
