(WNY News Now) – Jamestown Police swiftly arrested a man accused of persistent harassment during a domestic dispute at a Southside business.
On Saturday, December 21, 2024, at approximately 4:10 PM, Jamestown Police Department’s 2nd Platoon officers responded to a report of a domestic dispute at a Southside business.
Upon arrival, officers met with the victim, who reported that 36-year-old Donald E. Martin had been repeatedly harassing her. According to the victim, Martin had contacted her numerous times without legitimate reason, even after being explicitly told to stop.
The investigation revealed that Martin was waiting in the business parking lot for the victim to leave. Officers located Martin in his vehicle and took him into custody without incident.
Martin was transported to the Jamestown City Jail, where he was charged with Aggravated Harassment in the Second Degree. He remains in custody, pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
