(WNY News Now) – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office executed a warrant arrest of a Delevan man on December 30th, 2024.
DELEVAN, NY – The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of Melvin C. Franklin, 57, of Delevan, NY, on the evening of December 30, 2024. Franklin was apprehended on Regan Street on a bench warrant issued by Cattaraugus County Court.
Authorities executed the warrant at approximately 6:09 p.m., leading to Franklin’s transport to the Cattaraugus County Jail. Sheriff Eric A. Butler confirmed that Franklin remains in custody pending further court proceedings.
As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
