(WNY News Now) – Yorkshire, NY — The Cattaraugus County Sheriff’s Office has reported the arrest of a 27-year-old Yorkshire resident in connection with a larceny incident at a local grocery store.

On January 8, 2025, Anthony W. Queeno was apprehended for a petit larceny that occurred the previous day at the Save-A-Lot in Yorkshire. Deputies transported Mr. Queeno from his residence on Route 16 to the Yorkshire Substation for processing.

According to the Sheriff’s Office, the larceny was classified as a past-tense theft. Mr. Queeno was processed and released with an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Yorkshire Town Court for arraignment at a later date.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
