(WNY News Now) – JAMESTOWN, N.Y. – A local man was taken into custody early Saturday morning following a domestic dispute on the east side of Jamestown, during which he allegedly endangered a child.

According to the Jamestown Police Department, officers from the 3rd Platoon responded to a domestic dispute at approximately 3:10 a.m. on February 15, 2025. Upon arrival, officers encountered Victor J. Andino, 27, who was reportedly holding a child while swinging a knife during an argument.

Andino was taken into custody without incident and transported to Jamestown City Jail, where he is being held pending arraignment in Jamestown City Court. He faces a charge of Endangering the Welfare of a Child.

As are all persons accused of a crime, the accused is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
